Simple, focused support. Senior marketing thinking.

Three ways to work together, improving on where you are and what your business needs most.

Every business I work with is different. Some founders need a clear picture of where they stand before they can make any decisions. Others know what is wrong but need help building a strategy around it. Others want consistent senior support as their business grows.

The three offers below are designed around those real stages, not around what looks good on a service page. If you are not sure which one fits, the discovery call is the right place to start.

The Marketing Review

For founders who want an honest, independent read on what their marketing is actually doing and what to do next.

You bring the business context. I bring the senior marketing lens.

Over a focused engagement, I review your current marketing in full, including your channels, your activity, your reporting, your customer journey, and how your positioning lands in the market. I look at it the way a senior marketing director would. With commercial intent, not just marketing metrics.

At the end, you receive a clear written assessment of what is working, what is not, and what to prioritise. Every recommendation comes with a plain English rationale and practical next steps to help you grow your business.

What you get:

  • A structured review of your current marketing activity, channels and data

  • An honest assessment of what is and is not working

  • Clear, prioritised recommendations in a way you’ll understand

  • A written summary you can act on and share with your team

Best for:
Founders who have been doing marketing but are not confident it is connected in the best way or delivering the results they need to move forward, founders that want an honest, senior perspective before investing further.

Strategic Direction

For founders who need a clear marketing strategy and not just a review of what has happened.

Having activity without strategy is the most expensive way to do marketing. It keeps everyone busy without moving the business forward.

Strategic Direction is a defined engagement designed to give you a marketing strategy that is built around your specific business, goals, and market, not a generic framework applied from the outside.

I work with you to understand where the business is going, what the marketing needs to achieve, and what is getting in the way. From that, I build a clear strategy including what to focus on, where to invest, how to position and message, and what the priorities are over the next six to twelve months.

You receive a strategy you understand, can explain, and can act on.

What you get:

  • A marketing strategy built around your business goals and commercial context

  • Clear direction on positioning, messaging, channel priorities, and investment

  • A view of what to focus on in the next six to twelve months, and why

  • Full rationale behind every recommendation, in a way you will understand

Best for:
Founders with a small team or agency executing marketing activity, but no senior voice setting the direction or making sure everything connects to the business.

Ongoing Strategic Support

For founders who want a trusted senior marketing voice in their corner, on an ongoing basis.

Good marketing decisions do not happen once. They happen constantly, when a campaign needs sense-checking, when the agency recommends something and you are not sure if it’s right, when the business changes direction and the marketing needs to catch up.

Ongoing Strategic Support gives you regular access to senior marketing thinking without the cost or complexity of a full-time hire. The format is built around what your business actually needs, not a fixed deliverable or a billable hour count.

Some clients use it primarily for strategic oversight of their team or agency. Others want a consistent voice to help them make faster, better marketing decisions as their business grows. Either way, the standard is the same: clear thinking, understandable information, and commercial focus.

What you get:

  • Regular retained access to senior strategic support

  • Ongoing input on marketing decisions, priorities, and direction

  • Agency and team oversight, so you always have a senior perspective on what is being recommended

  • A consistent marketing lens as your business evolves

  • Guidance on AI marketing tools that save real time, including social content automation suited to your business

Best for:
Founders who have seen the value of senior strategic support and want it available consistently, not just at a single point in time.

Client Reviews

  • "I finally understand what my Google Analytics data is actually telling me. Lauren didn't just show me where to click - she explained what each metric means for my business and which ones actually matter. I used to nod along in agency meetings whilst having no idea what they were talking about. Now I can challenge their recommendations with informed questions and make better budget decisions."

Tameryn Kemp, Founder - Selkia Skincare

  • "Our lead quality improved 73% in 4 months. Lauren audited our entire funnel, identified conversion bottlenecks we didn't know existed, and gave us a clear roadmap to fix them. Before, we were generating leads but couldn't tell which channels were worth the investment. Now we have full attribution and know exactly where to allocate budget."

Eric M, Owner - Ace Powder Coating

  • "Creative, reliable, and genuinely passionate about what she does."

Your Questions, Answered

  • I work with Australian founders and small business owners who are doing some marketing but are not confident it is working. Most are running established businesses. They have revenue, they have some marketing activity in place, but they do not have a senior marketing voice helping them make sense of it all or decide what to focus on next.

  • The most common ones are: not knowing whether the marketing is actually delivering results, receiving reports or direction from an agency that do not mean anything you can understand to make quick decisions on, having a team doing marketing activity but no clear strategy connecting it to the business, and not knowing where to invest next. If any of those sound familiar, the discovery call is a good starting point.

  • It is a free 30-minute conversation. You tell me about your business and what is frustrating you about your marketing. I ask a few questions to understand where things stand. At the end, I will give you my honest view on whether and how I can help, and if I am not the right fit, I will tell you that too. There is no pitch and no obligation.

  • My primary expertise is strategic direction, understanding what your marketing should be doing, identifying what is getting in the way, and giving you clear priorities to work from. Most clients use that strategy to direct their own team or agency. But if you would prefer not to manage execution separately, I can work with you to get your strategy delivered too, so you have one trusted point of contact from the thinking through to the doing.

  • Yes. That is one of the most common situations I work with. Most clients already have someone handling execution: an agency, a VA, a contractor. What is usually missing is the strategic layer above them. I work alongside whoever is executing, making sure they have clear direction and that what they are doing connects back to your business goals.

  • This comes up constantly. Part of what I do is translate marketing data and reporting in a way you’ll understand, simply in plain English. This includes what it means for your business, what it does and does not tell you, and whether the metrics being reported are the right ones to be focused on. If you are nodding along in agency meetings without really knowing what is going on, that is worth fixing before you spend another dollar. I can help with 1-1 coaching, group training, and workshops.

  • It varies depending on what the business needs. Some clients want a regular strategic check-in (monthly or fortnightly), to review what is happening and make decisions together. Others want me available more regularly to sense-check activity, review proposals, or input on specific decisions as they pop up. We work out the right format at the start of the engagement and adjust it as needed.

  • A consultant typically delivers a document and leaves. An agency is focused on executing their services. What I offer is a trusted, ongoing senior perspective as a partner who comes in with your interests at the centre, gives you an honest read on what is happening, and stays involved in the decisions that follow. The goal is always to make your marketing clearer and more commercially effective, not to add complexity or create dependency.

  • That is exactly what the discovery call is for. I do not expect you to know which service fits before we have spoken. That is my job to work out with you. Book a call, tell me where things stand, and we will go from there.

  • No. The businesses I work with range from founders doing most things themselves to those with agencies and small internal teams. What matters more than budget size is whether you are ready to take a clear-eyed look at what your marketing is doing and make some considered decisions about it. Budget questions are best discussed on the discovery call, where I can give you an honest view of what level of support makes sense for your situation.

  • Once we have had a discovery call and agreed on what makes sense, most engagements can begin within a week or two. If you have something time-sensitive, mention it when you book and I will do my best to accommodate it.

  • My focus is Australian founders and small businesses, that is the market I know best. That said, I work remotely, so geography within Australia is not a constraint. If you are based outside Australia and feel the work is still a strong fit, feel free to get in touch and we can have a conversation.

  • Strategy is always the starting point, it has to be, otherwise execution is just expensive guesswork. Once the strategy is clear, some clients take it from there themselves. Others prefer to have me involved in getting it delivered too. If that is what you need, we can discuss what that looks like on the discovery call.
